Our story…
McKinley has been a patient at Le Bonheur since she was 2 weeks old. At 3 months old, she was diagnosed with a GATA4 gene mutation. This mutation requires close monitoring by a team of doctors from SEVEN different specialties. It is an incredibly rare cause of her specific symptoms. McKinley is one of only 27 cases ever documented worldwide. In her first year of life, she has endured more doctor appointments than any child should have to. The incredible team at Le Bonheur has simplified this process for our family and supported us every step of the way. Le Bonheur will forever hold a special place in our hearts!
